The Reuse Hub Wolverhampton is a joint undertaking between The Rebuild Site and ASAN Wood Saints. Based on Dixon Street, the Hub is open to the public and trades to purchase low cost building materials.
The Hub follows a similar model to Rebuild in Carlisle. It supports the construction industry to cut waste, make better use of materials, and lower carbon emissions. This is done by saving usable products and materials from being downcycled, burned, or sent to landfill – and instead helping them get reused. This keeps valuable resources in use for longer.
The Hub is also open to the public, offering a wide range of low-cost materials for DIY, building and creative projects – making reuse easy and affordable for everyone.
ASAN Wood Saints has been working in the West Midlands for several years with a focus on reusing wood. When the chance came to open a new hub in the region, partnering with ASAN was a natural fit. By working together, we can offer a broader service and build on the fantastic work they’re already doing.

Contractors, Builders Merchants and Wholesalers
We want to make it easy for sites and businesses to avoid putting usable construction products and materials in the skip.
Reusing surplus materials reduces environmental impact by decreasing carbon emissions and maximising resource use.
Some of your surplus materials are donated to local community projects, supporting organisations such as Men in Sheds, community gardening projects and local schools and colleges. Materials will also be available for sale to the general public and local trades giving people access to affordable construction materials that would otherwise be wasted…
…so reusing materials from site also has a positive social impact which can help your business win work by scoring on social value questions, such as those required by the TOMs framework, that can be tough to measure in your day to day business.
We accept a wide range of usable construction materials and have either an annual subscription or one-off collections available.
We are not a waste management company and do not handle waste materials. We only accept materials that can be used again for the same purpose as was originally intended.
We are looking for corporate sponsors and volunteers to help support the work we are doing.
Individuals, DIYers, gardeners, local tradespeople & crafters
Looking for affordable building materials for your DIY, renovation or creative project? Come and explore what’s on offer at the Reuse Hub.
We stock a wide and ever-changing range of surplus construction materials that have been rescued from building sites, builders’ merchants and wholesalers across the West Midlands. These materials are good quality and perfectly usable – and by buying them, you’re not only saving money, you’re also helping reduce waste and support a more sustainable, circular economy.
Whether you’re a tradesperson, a self-builder, a community group, or someone working on a home project, the Hub is a great place to find what you need at low cost – from timber, tiles and insulation to paint, doors and more. Our stock depends on what’s been recently collected, so it’s always worth popping in to see what’s new.
We’re also proud to support local community initiatives by donating free materials to projects such as community gardens, and local schools and colleges. So every purchase helps us do more.
