Volunteers & Work Experience

Our team of regular volunteers join us every week to help out in the shops, maintain tools and work on DIY projects. No two days are the same, although we can always guarantee the kettle will be on!

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, and work with each volunteer to find their specialism within the organisation, helping to grow a team we very much value.

Donated hours provided by our volunteer team represent the move into two new shops, the building of a tool library and community space, countless conversations with customers, tools maintained and reconditioned for our library, new houses for hundreds of nesting birds, deliveries and collections, forklift driving, pallet moving, merchandising, cups of tea and chats about life, the universe and pretty much everything…

We also welcome corporate volunteer days. Either an individual who wants to use their volunteer day to do something a bit different or full team corporate volunteer days focused on a project. Get in touch to find out more.
