Whether you’re a contractor with left over materials that can still be of use, or you’re looking for work experience or just wanting to help out in your community, we are here to help.
Contractors

At The Rebuild Site, we want to make it easy for contractors to avoid putting usable materials in the skip.
No one wants to purchase more materials than they need for a job. But long lead in times, tight programmes, allowance for some breakages, clients changing scope and having to order full packs means, at the moment, it’s almost inevitable.

A job at Rebuild is a chance to combine practical work with social and environmental impact, alongside a friendly, values-led team. Every day is different and it is fun, rewarding and purposeful.
We are currently recruiting a Community Repair & Reuse Officer funded by the Lottery Community Fund to help grow Rebuild’s community programme around repair, reuse and practical sustainability.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll help coordinate workshops, repair cafés, school visits and community sessions that support people to learn practical skills, reduce waste and take positive environmental action.
If you enjoy working with people, organising activities, and making things happen in a community setting, this could be a great fit.

Our team of regular volunteers join us every week to help out in the shops, maintain tools and work on DIY projects. We couldn’t manage without them. And with lots to do we are always looking for more!
We also offer work experience placements each year and we can do brilliant corporate volunteer days. So whether you want to come every week, help on events days or just come for a one off volunteering day, get in touch!
