Rebuild is delighted to be part of ReYorkshire, an ambitious new programme bringing together organisations from across York and North Yorkshire to encourage the reuse and sharing of materials across construction, business, agriculture and the community sector. The 18-month initiative is supported by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority through its Carbon Negative Challenge Fund and aims to develop practical ways of keeping valuable resources in use.

As one of the delivery partners, Rebuild will be sharing the experience we’ve gained from establishing and running a construction reuse hub over the last five years. That includes everything from developing contractor partnerships and managing material flows to engaging communities and creating social value through reuse.

We’re proud to be working alongside Reusefully, Biomimicry Innovation Lab and Circular Malton & Norton as part of a collaborative approach to making circular economy work in practice.

For us, ReYorkshire is about much more than one region. If we can demonstrate successful models for reuse and industrial collaboration at a regional level, it creates a blueprint that can be adapted and replicated elsewhere.
