We recently welcomed Nkosi and Jaiyana from Central Academy for a week of work experience at Rebuild.

They got properly stuck in, helping out in the shop, learning about circular economy in practice, and even creating some social media content for us along the way.

As part of the week, they also joined us at Carlisle Ambassadors at the Racecourse, where they met a wide range of local organisations (and even held an owl!), met the Leader of the Council and were interviewed by Cumbria Guide.

Back on site, they helped with painting a large mural for a pop-up event.

It was a great week and a real pleasure to have them with us. Thanks again to Nkosi and Jaiyana for all their help and enthusiasm.
