After the big move last summer we are delighted to be able to announce that the skills workshops are now back up and running (with customer toilets on site now too)!
We’ve already held our first workshop in the new space (woodturning last weekend), and the rest of the programme tickets are now on sale. These sessions are in small groups of 2-6 and focus on reuse, repair, making and practical skills, and are led by experienced facilitators in a supportive environment.
Upcoming workshops include:
-
31 Jan, Make a Memory Bear (4 places still available)
-
8 Feb, Tool sharpening
-
18 Feb, Knitting
-
28 Feb, Woodwork
-
28 March, Furniture upcycling

Each workshop is designed to help people build skills, confidence, and connection, while keeping materials in use and sharing practical knowledge.
Workshops are an important part of how we’re growing what Rebuild can offer, alongside material reuse, community projects, and training. They also allow us to work with local makers and practitioners, bringing skills and experience into the space.
We’re always keen to hear from workshop facilitators interested in running sessions with us later in the year, particularly those working in reuse, repair, craft and practical skills. Our space is also available to hire for compatible workshops and group activities.
Get in touch if there’s anything else you would like to know.
