A Wonderful Day at the Rebuild Festive Fayre

We had a fantastic turnout at our Rebuild Festive Fayre yesterday, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to support it.

The depot was full of festive energy all day, with a brilliant mix of local makers, delicious food, and plenty of community spirit. Our stallholders brought an amazing range of handmade and sustainable gifts. From second hand Christmas decorations, wooden bowls and hand-thrown ceramics to homemade jams, pickles, chutneys and fresh wood-fired pizza (which had sold out by 3!). It was lovely to see so many people choosing to shop small, meet the makers, and pick up something unique for the festive season.

The atmosphere was brilliant too with people staying for a hot drink, children joining in on the free sock caterpillar workshop ran by Monkey Tales, volunteers lending a hand (thanks Chetna, Ellen, Maciek and Emma’s mum), friends catching up and new visitors discovering what Rebuild is all about. Days like this really highlight how creative, generous, and supportive our community is.

Thank you to every stallholder, visitor, volunteer, team member and partner who helped make the fayre such a success. We’re already looking forward to next year and there was a lot of talk of a spring fayre…
